Welcome …
Rockhampton Anglican Cathedral is one of the jewels of Central Queensland and has a lively story to tell, the greatest of which is the good news of Jesus.
It may not be the best-known Gothic Cathedral in Australia, it is certainly not the biggest, but it delights its many residents and visitors alike.
But a Cathedral is more than the building, it’s a place of teaching the Word of God, of connecting as a community, of celebration, creativity and care.
St Paul’s has been, and continues to be, a sign of God’s presence and mission in the community of Rockhampton, in times of affluence and in times of pain and crisis.
Enjoy the beauty of the Cathedral and its precinct and be part of the story of what God is doing with and through the Church in Rockhampton.
Come connect, or re-connect, with St Paul’s,
Your Cathedral.
Ross Nicholson,
Dean, St Paul’s Cathedral
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
